Lindsey Brown

Senior Consultant

Lindsey is an applied psychologist with considerable experience working mainly in consultancy.  Her particular approach links the business agenda to the capability of employees, at both the individual and organizational level.  She has a pragmatic style which is informed by the rigours of her legal training and the experience of working in a number of strongly commercial organizations.

After obtaining her first degree in Psychology – at Durham University – she went on to study Law in London, at the Guildhall, and was admitted to the Law Society as a solicitor in 1993.  The attraction of applying her psychological expertise began to outweigh the temptation of Law.  Consequently she moved into the world of consultancy working for Moloney & Gealy, and PA Consulting.

Lindsey has the BPS level A and B psychometric testing qualifications and additional licences for a considerable array of tests.  She also has considerable skill and experience in the recruitment and selection of senior managers and executives.  In this role she spent six years as a Director of one of the leading UK specialist HR executive search firms.

She is now in her second year working with Organizational Edge.

Lindsey’s main area of business focus, include:

  • Executive profiling and assessment:  design and delivery of customised assessment and individual profiling processes.
  • Management and Leadership development:  design, creation and delivery of development programmes during her time with the PA Management College.  This experience spanned across all sectors.
  • Coaching and facilitation at all levels:  individual and team coaching at senior management levels within client organizations.
  • Team development:  consulting in the field of team effectiveness and team leadership, along with the design and delivery of tailored events to develop new skills and behaviours.
